Because electric cars don't get the usual taxation in Norway, the Tesla Model S is cheap enough to be a regular taxi, and fall into the same cathegory as the MB E-class and BMW 5-series. With the good range the Tesla offers, this cab driver went and bought one. He says that he will save about 20 000 $ a year in fuel savings, free passings on toll roads and parking.
He considers this a test-project though, but !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! have shown that the Model S can handle winter driving as good as a car run on fossil fuel. But if this is a success, Oslo might see a lot more Teslas run as taxis. The Model X will probably be an even better alternative.
